Baccarat Harcourt Chess Game

This spectacular chess set by Baccarat in midnight black and clear crystal is available in a limited-edition numbered series of 50 sets. It was designed by Japanese studio Nendo as a tribute to Baccarat's iconic Harcourt glass. The 16 midnight black cut-crystal pieces and 16 clear cut-crystal figures have each been hand-cut from a whole Harcourt n°3 glass by a highly skilled French craftsman. The pieces sit atop a transparent plexiglas board whose upper side is chequered with black markings. Each set is numbered and signed Baccarat and Nendo. This monumental and decorative work is a true masterpiece.
